"Art is not just beauty briefly captured…”
“…art is a tool for the people - a tangible catalyst for social change.”
About Kyra Roesle
Muralist, Art Director, Translator, Social Activist
Kyra Roesle was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and spent the majority of her life on a ranch in mid-east Kansas, learning the ways of the world the only way nature knows best - wildin.
Kyra is a KU Alumni, having degrees in Mandarin, Political Science, and Linguistics. She traveled the world, mainly working in China, including under American artist Stan Herd. Since 2016, Kyra has gone from Stan’s assistant, to The Herd Initiative’s Art Director, hand-crafting brilliantly unique murals of landscape design - “Earthworks” as coined by Stan - commercially and independently. She is also a celebrated local paint muralist in Eugene, Oregon.
About Kyra’s Art
Kyra has been creating original murals professionally since 2016, both nationally and internationally. Her murals are, without a doubt, her specialty. From traditional murals by paint…
…to non-traditional murals by landscape design
